Marius and Cosette Love Scenes

This connects to every time Marius and Cosette’s eyes met and sparkled with love. They just saw each other pass by until one day the profess their love and they finally feel alright because they are by each other’s side.

This connects to the feeling Marius and Cosette felt when they weren’t together. They sent each other love cards and addresses to meet each other. When they weren’t together they spent all day thinking about each other.

This connects to Marius’ reaction when Cosette tells him she’s leaving to England. They both thought they would never have to say good-bye. They loved each other so much and had such a great time together. Unfortunately, Cosette had to leave and there was no way for Marius to go with her.

1. This is how I imagine Fantine, a poor mother filled with sorrow thinking about her daughter:

2. a. Fantine leaves Cossette with the Thenardiers. She believes she is making the right decision and that she will come back for her. What she does not know is that little Cossette will become the house's maid. It was really hard for Fantine to leave her daughter but she had to, if not the child would have died of hunger:

2. b. When Fantine believes Jean Valjean has brought her daughter back she is truly happy. She did not know it was not her true daughter, for she was not allowed to see the little girl because of her illness. Fantine could finally sleep well knowing that her daughter was in good hands and close to her:

2. c. After hearing the shocking news that her daughter was not brought to her yet, she freaked out and died of sadness. Jean Valjean promised he would find her daughter and take care of her and eventhough se was already dead, the expression in her face seemed real calm:

4. -Fantine was given a job at Mousieur Madeleine's bracelet factory:

-Ultimus Fauchelevent took care of Fantine's daughter and became a "father" figure for the child:

This is the fire in which he saved the son of a general. It was the begining of his new life as Mousieur Madeleine. He was then known as a good man and named Mayor.

In this image, Jean Valjean is running from a dog that attacked him in the dog kennel. Since, he was kicked out of the inns and he had no place to stake he decided to go to a dog kennel when he found out he wasn't even admitted there. He was treated worse than a animal.

This is Jean Valjean stealing bread for his sister and her 7 sons and daughters. He was just a miserable man who wanted to feed his nephews who were dying of starvation. Unfortunately, he was caught stealing a loaf of bread and was sentences 5 years in the galleys.

Here is Jean Valjean in his first attempt to escape the galleys. After being caught he was sentenced more years as prisoner. He spent 5 years in the galleys for burglary and 14 years for having attempted to escape the galleys 4 times.

Jean Valjean

This is Jean Valjean walking with no hope at all. He has come from Puy Moisson and has walked all day. He has been told he is finally 'liberated' after 19 years in the galleys, but he has a yellow passport in his pocket which is enough to get kicked out from wherever he goes.
